3D kitchen rendering with oak cabinets and dark island — home remodel design Pacific Palisades CA

I started Realized Design as a rendering studio with one goal. To bridge the gap between construction documents and the finished product.

After studying architecture at UC Berkeley and spending a few years working in the custom home industry, I kept noticing the same thing. Designers and builders see the finished space in their head long before it exists. Most clients do not. That gap creates uncertainty, miscommunication, and decisions that feel like guesses.

Renderings fix that. But only if they are accurate.

Most rendering studios pick materials that look good on screen. We do something different. I work closely with homeowners and interior designers to gather every detail we can. The actual paint color, the chosen furnishings, the specific fixtures. The goal is for you to see your space the way it will actually look, in your lighting, with your selections. Not a stylized version of it. Yours.

This matters beyond the design process too. When a contractor has an accurate rendering on site, everyone is working toward the same finish line. No surprises at the end. No "that's not what I pictured." Just a shared view of where the project is headed and the clarity to get there together.

Every project gets direct, hands-on attention from start to finish. Clear visuals, accurate documentation, and a process built around making your decisions easier. Six words sum it up best:

"See it. Love it. Build it."

"See it. Love it. Build it."

What types of projects do you specialize in?
icon

We specialize in residential and commercial work, including single-family homes, ADUs, multifamily, tenant improvements, and small mixed-use developments. Our services span from early feasibility and architectural design through permit-ready drawings, consultant coordination, and high-end 3D renderings for marketing and approvals.

Do you offer rendering only, without design services?
icon

Yes. This is actually how we got started. Producing high-quality renderings for architects, contractors, developers, and homeowners. We regularly work from existing plans or models and can also build the 3D model as part of the visualization process.

What makes your studio different from a typical architect or renderer?
icon

We are a boutique studio where every project receives hands-on attention. We combine technical architectural knowledge with high-end visualization, and we prioritize service, communication, and responsiveness. Our goal is to make the process clear, efficient, and reliable from start to finish.

What is your process from first call to final delivery?
icon

Each project begins with a discovery call, zoom meeting, or on-site visit to understand goals, constraints, and scope. From there we define the workflow, establish milestones, and move through design or rendering with structured reviews and clear deliverables.

How long does a typical project take?
icon

Rendering projects typically take 1–3 weeks, depending on complexity, number of views, and revision rounds. Design timelines vary by scope, jurisdiction, and review cycles and are outlined clearly at the start of each project.

How are payments structured and what is required to get started?
icon

Design projects typically begin with a 25% retainer, while rendering projects require a 50% retainer. Work starts once a signed contract and retainer are received, with the remaining balance tied to agreed milestones and final delivery as outlined in the proposal.
